A Poem And A Message Of
Hope The holiday season is fast approaching, and I wanted to write you a little message of hope. Holidays are generally happy times, but for many who have lost loved ones, it can be a very difficult time. Many people suffer from depression and loneliness during the festive season. I know that so many of you have lost your beloved animal companions, and you miss them very much. We lost our own cat, Pete, in 2001 just before Christmas. It was December 15, 2001 that Pete went to Heaven. I think about Pete everyday, and I know that you think about your precious pet, too. I hope that it will encourage you to remember that your pet is healthy, safe, and very happy in Heaven today. They wait anxiously for the moment that we will join them. My loss of Pete is what inspired me to write two pet loss books, There Is Eternal Life For Animals and The Rainbow Bridge: Pet Loss Is Heaven's Gain. You may have read these books, but sometimes feel sad and depressed. Many people have told me that reading these books a second and third time bring them renewed comfort. My thoughts are with you everyday, and I pray that the Lord will comfort you. I thought it might be helpful if I gave you the link to my pet loss articles: http://eternalanimals.com/articles.htm This is a poem I wrote for The Rainbow Bridge: Pet Loss Is Heaven's Gain. I hope you will be encouraged by it. Fluffy’s In Heaven
